Irish coffee is a cocktail consisting of hot coffee, Irish whiskey, and sugar, stirred, and topped with cream. The coffee is drunk through the cream.

Ingredients

• 1 shot espresso
• 1 oz. Irish whiskey
• 1 tbsp. brown sugar
• 4 oz. heavy cream, whipped

Steps

1. Pull a shot of espresso using an espresso machine.
2. Pour the espresso, whiskey, and brown sugar into a heat-resistant mug.
3. Stir to dissolve the sugar.
4. Top the Irish coffee with a layer of whipped cream.
