A Flat White is a coffee drink consisting of espresso with microfoam (steamed milk with small, fine bubbles with a glossy or velvety consistency).

Ingredients

  • 1 shot espresso
  • 4 oz. steamed milk
  • 1 oz. foam

Steps

  1. Pull a shot of espresso and pour it into a small latte cup.
  2. Heat milk in a milk frother or on the stove until steamed to desired temperature.
  3. Pour the steamed milk into the cup with the espresso, leaving a small layer of foam on top.
