The Black and White is a coffee drink that combines espresso and chocolate syrup for a delicious sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 shot espresso
  • 6 oz. steamed milk
  • 1 oz. foam
  • 1 oz. chocolate syrup

Steps

  1. Pull a shot of espresso and pour it into a mug.
  2. Heat milk in a milk frother or on the stove until steamed to desired temperature.
  3. Pour the steamed milk into the mug with the espresso, leaving room for foam and chocolate syrup on top.
  4. Using a milk frother or a spoon, add a layer of foam on top of the milk.
  5. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the foam.
