Dalgona Coffee

Dalgona Coffee is a beverage made by whipping equal proportions of instant coffee, sugar, and hot water until it becomes creamy and then adding it to cold or hot milk.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. instant coffee or espresso powder
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. hot water
  • 400 ml. milk

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine coffee, sugar, and hot water.
  2. Using a whisk or a hand mixer, vigorously whip the coffee mixture until it becomes light and frothy and holds stiff peaks.
  3. Fill a glass most of the way full with milk, then dollop and smooth the whipped coffee mixture on top.
