The Peppermint Mocha is a festive and invigorating drink that combines the boldness of espresso with the comforting flavours of chocolate and peppermint.

Ingredients

  • 2 shots of espresso
  • 200 ml of whole milk
  • 2 tbsp of cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp of peppermint syrup
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Brew 2 shots of espresso using your preferred method.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the whole milk over low heat until it starts to steam.
  3. Add the cocoa powder to the milk and stir until fully blended.
  4. Add the peppermint syrup to the milk and stir well.
  5. Combine the brewed espresso and the flavoured milk in a large mug.
  6. Top with a dollop of whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings.
